Avengers: Infinity War is more than just another superhero film. An entire cinematic universe has been carefully building to this precise moment of intense nerdgasm. It's been ten years... and the wait was worth it. This is colossal.
Scarlett Johansson is on board for the new WWII satire Jojo Rabbit directed by Taika Waititi.
The first official trailer for Avengers: Infinity War dropped today, and it looks like the Marvel movie to top all Marvel movies.
Wes Anderson's much anticipated stop-motion film Isle of Dogs finally has its first trailer, and it looks to be another stand-out in the director's incredible career.
The live-action adaptation of the cult anime Ghost in the Shell is probably one of the most visually perfect films to grace our screens so far this year. It's great to have some cyber punk to sink our teeth into again, but its poor attempts at provoking emotional responses and philosophical debate bring it down to your standard 3-star action film.
A little while ago there was a bit of whitewashing controversy over the fact that Scarlett Johansson had been chosen to play cyborg policewoman 'The Major' for the live action interpretation of Japanese anime Ghost in the Shell. It is a bit disrespectful considering that it's a Japanese story. Miss Johansson who is good in an action role though and she's certainly had her fair share. If you haven't seen Avengers, you're living under a rock. I personally prefer her in Lucy. Here's the trailer...enjoy!
