A teaser trailer for the long-anticipated Black Widow film has finally dropped and it looks like we’re in for some decent female-driven action with a touch of family reunion.
Directed by Australian filmmaker Kate Shortland (Somersault, Berlin Syndrome), the film will centre on the blood-spattered past of ex-KGB agent Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Rumours suggest it will be set in the two-year-gap between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)
The origin film also boasts an exciting all-star cast including Rachel Weisz, Florence Pugh, David Harbour and more…
Black Widow’s release will mark the beginning of the MCU’s Phase 4 project which will see multiple new characters, films and television series released over the next decade.
In Czech cinemas May 1st, 2020.
