By Ryan Keating-Lambert

Wes Anderson’s much anticipated stop-motion film Isle of Dogs finally has its first trailer, and it looks to be another stand-out in the director’s incredible career.

Director Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums) is yet to make a bad film and his winning streak looks to continue here with his first stop-motion film since the much loved Fantastic Mr Fox in 2009.

Isle of Dogs is set in futuristic Japan and follows the story of young pilot Atari Kobayashi, who is on a mission to rescue his beloved canine from the dreaded Mayor Kobayashi, who has put all dogs in quarantine due to an outbreak of ‘dog flu’. Check out the trailer below.

The film boasts a massive star-studded cast including Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Liev Schreiber, and Yoko Ono.

Isle of Dogs hits select cinemas March 23rd, 2018.
