Legion: Season 1, Episode 1 review

Legion is a new FX series that premiered last week and has met with some interesting praise. From executive producer Noah Hawley (Fargo) and veteran X-men director Bryan Singer, there’s an eclectic crew behind this one that’s going to stand it out from all these other sci-fi series. Legion provides an alternative and slightly more insane perspective of the X-men universe; a perspective from inside the padded walls of a mental institution.

Prague Shorts 2017: Neil Gaiman’s ‘Likely Stories’ review

The Festival of Short Films in Prague has brought us some QUALITY screenings this year – a more than decent selection of fascinating films spanning a multitude of different genres and cultures. But one of the highlights was the wonderfully dark and original Likely Stories by the twisted king of contemporary literature, Neil Gaiman. Four short stories oozing with sick and supernatural tales, each one as engaging and rewarding as the next.

Taboo trailers: Tom Hardy in new teasers

Stephen Knight, writer and director of Locke, has created a series with Tom Hardy and his father Chip Hardy. Set in 1814, 'Taboo' sees James Keziah Delaney (Tom Hardy) returning to England, after years of being presumed dead, to take over his father's shipping empire. However, his father's empire seems to be a little more than he bargained for. Cue conspiracies, murder and loads of other fun.
