New Netflix comedy series Glow (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling) sees Alison Brie smack some b*tches up.
Set in the 1980s, struggling actress Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) gets a second chance at achieving Hollywood stardom when she wins an acting gig at the first all female wrestling TV show. Based on the real life series, the group, made up of 11 women, deal with a number of issues including sexism and racism. Glow is essentially an origin story for the real life women in the show, and how they got there.
With a fabulous crew of female creators including executive producer Jenji Kohan (Orange is the New Black), all ten episodes of Glow will be available to stream on Netflix from June 23.
