First Man is a refreshing take on a story we’ve heard a million times. It’s an ‘apollo movie’ that’s been stripped of its patriotism and heroics, and instead focuses on brutal realism and success through failure.
The Prague International Film Festival aka Febiofest will celebrate a landmark 25 years this year with a class selection of new films, as well as some golden oldies. There’s finally a trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049, the long awaited sequel to Ridley Scott’s science fiction classic. Not much to say other than this trailer is packed with mood and tension like any film by Villeneuve. There’s also some samples of the original score there too – certainly enough to give you some chills!
