Cheesy dialogue and a messy narrative make this a confusing outing. It's a wonky blend of the original Alien and Prometheus. Apples and Oranges.
It's probably been one of the most anticipated trailer build-ups this year, right up there with Blade Runner 2049. The magic of Ridley Scott. But can we expect something similar to the original Alien? Of course not, but this trailer is impressive and haunting nonetheless. Mind. Officially. Blown.
There's finally a trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049, the long awaited sequel to Ridley Scott's science fiction classic. Not much to say other than this trailer is packed with mood and tension like any film by Villeneuve. There's also some samples of the original score there too - certainly enough to give you some chills!
With all of the hype around Alien: Covenant and the nail biting wait for the first teaser trailer, there hasn't been much talk of Neill Blomkamp's mysterious Alien 5 project, which has been in the works since Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium) shared some incredibly twisted alien concept art just after wrapping his last film Chappie, also starring Sigourney Weaver.
