There’s finally a trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049, the long awaited sequel to Ridley Scott’s science fiction classic. Not much to say other than this trailer is packed with mood and tension like any film by Villeneuve. There’s also some samples of the original score there too – certainly enough to give you some chills!
Harrison Ford returns as Deckard and Ryan Gosling is at this point just known as ‘K’. Ridley Scott is in the executive producer seat, which after Prometheus and other recent outings, I’m quite happy about. Director Villeneuve proved he can do great things with science fiction with Arrival this year, so let’s see how this pans out.
In selected cinemas from 6 October, 2017.
