We’re now at the third last episode of the total mind-f-ck that is Legion. We learn more about the elusive Lenny and his/her background, as well as his/her motivations.
Much like the previous episode, some questions answered… more come to the surface. We’re over the halfway mark of the season now, and everything’s starting to heat up.
Episode 3, like episode 2, relies heavily on character development and psychological drama. Little is brought forward in terms of plot, but we are given a bit more of David’s disturbing childhood.
Legion is a new FX series that premiered last week and has met with some interesting praise. From executive producer Noah Hawley (Fargo) and veteran X-men director Bryan Singer, there’s an eclectic crew behind this one that’s going to stand it out from all these other sci-fi series. Legion provides an alternative and slightly more insane perspective of the X-men universe; a perspective from inside the padded walls of a mental institution.
