A new full-length Suspiria trailer has dropped and it confirms that the Argento remake is going to be one creepy outing.
Directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name) and based on the cult classic film directed by Italian master of horror Dario Argento, Suspiria sees an American ballet student (Dakota Johnson) join a dance company in Europe. At the centre of the company is the sinister artistic director Madame Blanc (Tilda Swinton) who also happens to be in a coven of witches.
Suspiria also stars Mia Goth, Chloe Grace Moretz and Jessica Harper, the original star of the 1977 film.
Fans of the original film were quite suspicious of the remake, including myself, but it does look as if Guadagnino has pulled off something special here. Director Quentin Tarantino has already given the film his seal of approval and said that it even reduced him to tears.
Suspiria will premiere at the Venice International Film Festival later this month and will hit cinemas worldwide from November.
