New sci-fi action movie Upgrade looks like a twisted combination of Robocop and John Wick.
Directed by Leigh Whannell (Saw) and produced by the horror maestros at Blumhouse, Upgrade sees young mechanic Grey (Logan Marshall Green) agree to having a ‘stem’ biochip inserted into his body after a horrific crime leaves him a quadriplegic. Grey not only recovers but evolves into an (almost) unstoppable fighting machine. Check out the trailer below.
Upgrade also stars Melanie Vallejo, Steve Danielson, Betty Gabriel and Harrison Gilbertson.
In Czech cinemas August 30.
