Honestly, I almost completely forgot about this franchise. I guess it’s had little room to breathe with all the Marvel and Star Wars around. This trailer is intense though and if it’s anything like the first two movies, War for the Planet of the Apes will be great. Andy Serkis, the human puppet who plays Caesar, is a true master of his craft. Having acted in films for years, I think his true talents lie in these animalistic characters that find him running around on all fours. Having studied the behaviour of apes for the previous films and also for Peter Jackson’s King Kong, I’m thrilled to see where he’s going to take the character this time. Check out the trailer below.
