The final trailer for the new Joker movie featuring Joaquin Phoenix as the titular Batman villain is here.
New footage features actor Joaquin Phoenix in full Joker get-up and looking pretty damn creepy, but unlike earlier portrayals of the iconic villain, director Todd Phillips (The Hangover) appears to have put more of a Martin Scorsese feel into this standalone film.
Based on the DC comics, Joker sees failed stand-up Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) develop psychotic tendencies which lead to him becoming the Clown Prince of crime in Gotham City.
Will Joaquin Phoenix be able to live up to the iconic Joker performances by Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Mark Hamill (Sorry, Jared Leto)?
Joker also stars Robert De Niro and Zazie Beetz and will hit Czech cinemas October 3.
