Midsommar – new horror from the director of ‘Hereditary’ coming to Czech cinemas

By Ryan Keating-Lambert

Ari Aster’s much-anticipated Midsommar will come to Czech cinemas early August thanks to Aerofilms.

After the director’s critically acclaimed debut horror film Hereditary, Midsommar brings Aster’s new vision of horror to the big screen this summer. The film sees a young American couple travel to a mysterious midsummer festival in Sweden to help save their relationship. As expected, the fairytale surroundings of the Swedish countryside soon transform into a sinister nightmare.

Starring the wickedly talented Florence Pugh (Lady Macbeth), Jack Reynor (Sing Street), William Jackson Harper (Paterson) and Will Poulter (The Revenant), critics have dubbed Midsommar as a modern horror masterpiece – start getting excited.

Get in early and catch an advanced screening on Wednesday, July 24th at 18:00 in Kino Aero.

Midsommar will be in Czech cinemas everywhere from August 1st.
