So amidst all of the turkey, crackers and other Christmas nonsense, I have some exciting news! Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom, Grand Budapest Hotel) has started work on his new animated feature film Isle of Dogs.

Currently filming in England, Isle of Dogs is Anderson’s first animated feature since the fantastic Fantastic Mr Fox and stars the usual A-listers including Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum and Francis McDormand plus some new faces including Scarlett Johansson, Brian Cranston, Greta Gerwig, Liev Schreiber and Yoko Ono… yes, you heard correctly.
Anderson has also made a cute and clever video announcement saying that fans can donate to charity through CrowdRise and win some wicked stuff including a set visit and the chance to be a VOICE in the film! All proceeds go towards film restoration and protection through Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation. Check it out below and stay tuned for further updates from the set!
