Dunkirk review – a masterful exercise in tension and beauty

After a long and gruelling wait, Christopher Nolan's war epic Dunkirk has finally landed, and it's a remarkable achievement not only in its genre, but an achievement in modern cinema.

Nolan’s Dunkirk trailer is finally up!

Hearing the impending doom of warplanes flying overhead will do that I suppose. Finally we've been treated to the first full length trailer of Dunkirk, the first war movie since 1958 to focus specifically on the "miracle of little ships" when over 300 000 allied soldiers were evacuated from Dunkirk Harbour in Northern France during World War II.
