The French Dispatch trailer – Timothee Chalamet stars in new Wes Anderson film

By Ryan Keating-Lambert

The trailer just dropped for Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch and it looks predictably well, Wes Anderson, in every way imaginable, right down to the all-star cast.

This is the 10th film by the director, and is the first live-action film since 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. Starring Timothee Chalamet, the film is centred around an American newspaper outpost of a fictional French City, where we see a series of stories from local newspaper The French Dispatch come to life. Check out the trailer below.

The ensemble cast (probably the biggest so far) also includes Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Bob Balaban, Jeff Goldblum, Elisabeth Moss, Tilda Swinton, Lea Seydoux, Saoirse Ronan, Owen Wilson, Jeffrey Wright, Tony Revolori, and many more.

The French Dispatch will hit select cinemas July 24. There are rumours however, that the film may have its world premiere at Cannes in May.
