New Czech LGBT film distributor Queer Kino will bring Xavier Dolan’s new film Matthias & Maxime to Czech cinemas this Thursday the 14th of November after a sold-out premiere at Prague’s Mezipatra Queer Film Festival this week.
The latest film by the French-Canadian golden boy, who also appears in the film as ‘Maxime’, follows the story of two childhood friends whose unbreakable bond is shaken to the core when they are dared to kiss at a friend’s party. The film is a moving and intimate portrait of two lost men, and premiered at the Cannes film festival earlier this year.
