Avengers: Endgame is the first film in Czech cinema history to have over 100 000 visitors in a single day.
Opening weekend saw a massive 356 215 visitors visit the cinema for the new Marvel outing.
The last opening weekend to even come close to those figures was 2015’s Fifty Shades of Grey.

Endgame also made over 60 million Kč from visitors to Czech cinemas this weekend, which included last Wednesday’s preview screenings, taking the title away from the highly successful Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The film was predicted to have a successful weekend, but Czech Marvel film distributor Falcon did not expect figures to be this high, especially when taking into consideration that the film is over three hours long, meaning that screenings are limited across all cinemas.
Avengers: Endgame is the final Avengers film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise and is now showing in Czech cinemas everywhere.
