The stunning new Timothée Chalamet drama Beautiful Boy is coming to Czech cinemas this January and is a heartbreaking portrayal of teenage drug addiction, and a must-see.
Based on the best-selling memoirs by real-life father and son David and Nicholas Sheff, Beautiful Boy focuses on the emotional and taxing journey of a teenage meth addict (Timothée Chalamet) and his father (Steve Carell) who is desperately trying to save him.
Directed by Felix Van Groeningen (The Broken Circle Breakdown), the film has been noted for its unique portrayal of addiction, gorgeous visuals, and a powerhouse performance by Timothée Chalamet (Call Me by Your Name), who was recently nominated for a Golden Globe and is also generating major Oscar buzz.
Beautiful Boy will be in Czech cinemas from January 3, but will have advanced screenings over the Christmas break in Prague’s Kino Světozor and BIO OKO thanks to Aerofilms.
