Carice van Houten, known for playing the red priestess Lady Melisandre in HBO’s Game of Thrones, will be in Prague to shoot new film The Glass Room.
Directed by Prague-born Julius Ševčík (Masaryk, Normal), The Glass Room is based on the novel by Simon Mawer which sees an epic romance between two women in a modernist Czechoslovakian house built by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe during the 20th century.
The English-language film will also star Hanna Alstrom (Kingsman), Alexandra Borbely (On Body and Soul), and Czech actor Karel Roden (Hellboy).
Shooting begins February 23 and will take place in several locations including the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands.
