In response to the growing Czech film industry, Prague Studios celebrated the construction of two new sound stages yesterday .
The film studios, based in Letňany, commemorated the occasion in a foundation stone ceremony with Czech actor Marek Vašut, who has starred in a number of big budget productions there over the years, including Blade II and Van Helsing.
The construction of the two new stages is a massive 140 million CZK project and also includes the modernisation of existing stages.
