Actor Orlando Bloom and model turned actress Cara Delevingne are in Prague starring in the new Amazon Studios fantasy series Carnival Row, which started shooting this week.
Bloom, known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean, is playing ‘Rycroft Phylostrate’, a detective investigating the murder of a faerie showgirl. Carnival Row is an eight-episode hour-long series set in a fictional neo-Victorian town where mythical creatures and man coexist. Majority of the creatures are also refugees from their own war-torn lands. Delevingne (Suicide Squad) will play ‘Vignette Stonemoss’, a faerish refugee. Have a look at some on-set photos below.
This timely series was brought to life by Amazon Studios and Legendary TV. Writer Rene Echevarria (Star Trek) is set to executive produce alongside director Paul McGuigan (Luke Cage) and Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim) who’s been with the project since its inception in 2005.
