Neill Blomkamp (District 9) recently uploaded Rakka, the first in a series of experimental short films through the director’s Oats Studio’s YouTube channel.

The short science fiction film stars Sigourney Weaver, whom also starred in Blomkamp’s last feature film Chappie. Rakka sees the director returning to his ‘aliens on earth’ roots. Check it out below.
Blomkamp hopes the short film project will generate interest in future feature film productions.
