This is just INTENSE. They’re all back! Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting, based on the novel by Irvine Welsh, is a cult classic and there is probably no way that it can live up to the original. But with Boyle’s directing track record which includes 28 Days Later, Sunshine, The Beach and Slumdog Millionaire, I’m pretty sure we’re in for a treat.
The original cast is back, and they don’t look that bad considering it’s been 20 years since the original was released. This trailer is nostalgic to the max. All it takes is a bit of Underworld’s ‘Born Slippy’ to take us all back 20 years. Who on earth is going to be on the soundtrack for this one? Choose Underworld, choose Iggy Pop, choose Leftfield! The original was probably one of the best soundtracks of 90s, this sequel has countless big shoes to fill.
T2 will be in cinemas from the end of January, 2017.
