Hayao Miyazaki fans will be jumping for joy over the news that classics Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away plus many more will join a host of other Studio Ghibli films already available to stream on Netflix CZ from this Sunday, March 1st.
Joining the likes of My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky and more already available on the streaming service, will be Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbors the Yamadas, Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, Arrietty, and The Tale of The Princess Kaguya.
And then on April 1st, Netflix will add their final wave with Pom Poko, Whisper of the Heart, Howl’s Moving Castle, Ponyo, From Up on Poppy Hill, The Wind Rises, and When Marnie Was There. So yeah, your spring is basically sorted.
The news first dropped last month when Netflix announced that they’d acquired the rights to 21 Studio Ghibli films.
