A NEW trailer has dropped for the much anticipated and star studded Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – the ninth film by Quentin Tarantino, which will premiere at Cannes tonight.
The Warner Bros production is set in the summer of 1969 in LA, and focuses on a number of characters but is mainly centred around washed-up actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), and the real-life Manson Family murders.
This is by far the most hyped film of Tarantino’s career, and that’s probably due to the EPIC cast which includes the previously mentioned Leonardo DiCaprio as ‘Rick Dalton’, Brad Pitt as stunt-man ‘Cliff Booth’, Al Pacino as Dalton’s agent ‘Marvin Schwarz’ and Margot Robbie as actress and Manson victim ‘Sharon Tate’.
In addition to the main cast, minor roles will be played by Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Nicholas Hammond, Emile Hirsch, Luke Perry, Clifton Collins Jr, Keith Jefferson, James Marsden, Julia Butters, Scoot McNairy, Mike Moh, Rumer Willis, Lena Dunham, Maya Hawke, Austin Butler, Lorenza Izzo, Rafal Zaweirucha, and Damon Herriman.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was originally slated to open on August 9, the 50th anniversary of the Tate-LaBianca murders, but has now been pushed forward to July 26, 2019.
