Jupiter’s Moon will have an English friendly screening at Kino Svetozor’s ‘Catch-Up Tuesday’ night on 1st May.
Directed by Kornél Mundruczó (White God, Johanna) and brought to the Czech Republic by Aerofilms, Jupiter’s Moon sees Syrian refugee Aryan (Zsombor Jéger) and his father attempting to cross the Hungarian border until they are unfortunately caught by a patrolling guard unit. As the situation descends into chaos, Aryan develops an unusual power. The film was also a contender for the Cannes Palme d’Or in 2017.
Catch Jupiter’s Moon on Tuesday, 1st May at 20:45 in Kino Svetozor’s ‘Catch-Up Tuesday’ – a weekly film night dedicated to showing foreign films with English subtitles.
