Robert Pattinson turns a lot of heads with his performance and unrecognisable look in the new trailer for New York crime thriller Good Time.
Pattinson has come a long way since his Twilight days, focusing more on independent cinema and even becoming somewhat of a muse for controversial director David Cronenberg.
Directed by Ben and Joshua Safdie (Daddy Long Legs), Good Time sees Pattinson playing a Queens based thug and bank robber with a dodgy peroxide hair job. After a bank heist goes wrong, he’s forced to break his mentally disabled brother out of jail… and it’s a hell of a chase to get there.
With rave reviews from its premiere in Cannes this year, Good Time is a superb experiment in mood and style (just look at that poster), and thrilling chase. Also starring the impeccable Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight) and Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), the A24 distributed film will hit select cinemas from August 17.
