Finally, after what seems like a century of waiting, the new Blade Runner 2049 trailer has dropped.
The new film directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) starring Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Robin Wright and Harrison Ford is set 30 years after the original film, and although the plot still relatively unknown, the hunt for replicants appears to have escalated. Is anyone human anymore? Let the speculation and trailer breakdowns begin… although personally, I’d prefer to be surprised.
With absolutely stunning cinematography by Roger Deakins, and Villeneuve in the director’s chair, expect the Oscar bells to be ringing come October… which is so far away.
