A boy born in a research colony on Mars experiences the wonders of Earth for the first time with a girl he meets online. Asa Butterfield (Ender’s Game) stars in this coming-of-age science fiction drama alongside Carla Gugino (Watchmen) and the one and only Gary Oldman.
This is an interesting move for director Peter Chelsom who until now has done mainly comedies like Serendipity and Hector and the Search for Happiness. I’m just really looking forward to seeing the wide-eyed Butterfield back in the sci-fi chair. That boy just oozes curiosity.
The tagline for this one is ‘What’s your favourite thing about Earth?’ – an interesting question indeed.
